 Montoursville Is a borough in Lycoming County and has always been important in the region. Madame Montour's village, as it was first known, has been a magnet of activity at the mouth of Loyalsock Creek since the European settlers first started to come upon the area of West Branch Susquehanna River. It was a major stopping point for the Moravian missionaries as they traveled throughout the Pennsylvania in the 18th century. Industrious people like John Burrows and Nathan Burrows helped build bridges and foster business in the area helping Montoursville thrive. Now the borough’s population has grown and is closer to 5000 as a recent census reports. As part of Williamsport’s Metropolitan area you have access to everything that a larger city has to offer while maintaining it’s small town feel. Montoursville holds the Williamsport Regional Airport
