Muncy Community Information 

Muncy is a borough located in Lycoming County and is part of the Williamsport Metropolitan area .  Muncy is surrounded by Muncy Creek Township. Muncy got its name from the Munsee Indians that historically lived in the area. There are many things to do in Lycoming County.Montgomery Original Italian Pizza on Main Street is a popular Italian restaurant.  If you want arguably the best wings in the county, come out to Haywood's Bar & Grill!  You may also want to try Sammy’s Pizza at the local Lycoming Mall.

Shopping choices are many.  You can find everything you need at the Lycoming Mall, Walmart, Sams Club or the CVS Pharmacy. If you’re really a bargain shopper, you may want to swing by the Surplus Outlet.  They have everything under the sun and for very cheap prices.  It is a convenient little stop however,they do close on Sundays.  One other niche store that is worth noting is the Grizzly Industrial Inc. Hardware Store.  It is great destination for that hardworking handyman
